The Virginia AUXCOMM Association
Is an umbrella organization to provide information, resources and coordination for Amateur Radio groups in the Commonwealth of Virginia that support emergency communications response to various agencies.

The registration on this page is for any EmComm group in Virginia.  This is an
interactive registration that you can update at anytime.  Your group leaders will have access to your group's information and can printout needed reports.  You can also change your availability status at will.

You may complete the above listed courses and exams and you will receive a certificate.  You can then send a copy of this to Glen Sage, W4GHS .  You may also complete the ARRL Emergency Communications Course, EC-001.  The ARRL course requires a fee of $50.00 for members and $85.00 for non-members.  The KY ARES courses are free.

By completing one of these two courses and completing ICS-100, 200, 700 and 800 you will be eligible for certified membership in the Virginia EmComm Association.  During the time you are working on the requirements, you may register as a trainee.  When you have completed the ICS and the emergency communications courses, scan your certificates and email the scanned files to the association.
