Sage Arrival in America
The document below is from a newspaper account of the Tayloe arriving in Williamsburg Virginia on October 7, 1773, under the command of Capt. John Ogilvie.  This account records 130 (indentured) servants on board.  The record for the transportation bond on 16 July 1773, shows James Sage as #39 of 44 on the 800 pound bond to John Ogilvie and several English merchants.  The remainder of the 130 servants must have been on a different bond.  This voyage was about 12 weeks on the high seas.
