The  147.090 up 600 KHz, with no tone required (W4BRC)  This machine provides good coverage over most of the Grayson County area and almost total coverage of the Carroll County area.  This would be the first machine activated in time of emergency.
Secondary Repeater & Skywarn Repeater for the Twin Counties & NW North Carolina: 145.13 down 600 KHz, with a tone of 103.5 required (N4VL)  This machine provides coverage over most of Grayson County and total coveerage over Carroll County.  It has an excellent pattern to the south into N.C. and would provide the best coverage for points south of the Blue Ridge Mountains such as the Cana area.
The 145.27 (W4GHS) with a minus off-set and a tone of 103.5  is located on Beamers Knob and is the Primary EmComm repeater for Carroll County.
Backup Repeater: 145.43 down 600 KHz, with no tone required (K4QFQ) This machine will cover areas of Grayson County (southwestern area) not covered with our primary and secondary machine.  .
Skywarn Repeater: 146.895 down 600 KHz, with a tone of 103.5 (K4EZ)  This machine will cover all of Carroll and the eastern part of Grayson County.  It also has good coverage as far west as Washington County and covers much of southern WV.This repeater is linked to a system to a number of other repeaters with vast coverage.
Skywarn Repeater:  147.180 up 600 KHz with a tone of 103.5 (N4NRV) .
This machine is used for A.R.E.S. in Pulaski and Montogomery Counites.
Skywarn Repeater: 146.745 down 600 KHz with a tone of 107.2 (K4ROA)  This machine is most active during Skywarn but has poor coverage into the Twin County area.  This machine covers the Roanoke area.
Skywarn Repeater: 146.985 down 600 KHz. with no tone required (W4CA)  This machine is the backup to 146.745 during Skywarn and provides better coverage into the Twin County area than 146.745.  This machine covers the Roanoke and surrounding area..
Assisted Area Repeater: 146.715 down 600 KHz. with no tone required.  (W9KIC) We have an agreement with Montgomery and Pulaski County to asssist them if needed.  This machine is in Blacksburg and can be worked from the Twin Counties.
Assisted Area Repeater: 147.135 up 600 KHz with a tone 100.0 (N4AZJ)  This machine will cover areas where we have assistance agreements and covers much of the Twin County area.
Richmond (State E.O.C.) Connection Repeater:  147.33 up 600 KHz with no tone.  This machine covers into our state capital and can be worked from the Twin County area with a groundplane from good locations or a beam from other sites.  It can be worked with a vertical from the Carroll County E.O.C.   It also covers much of the Valley of Virginia.
Assisted Area Repeater: 146.685 down 600 KHz with a tone of 100 (WA1ZMS )This repeater covers from the Twin Counties to areas in around Richmond.   Covers over 200 miles along RT 58 east of Lovers Leap Mountain.
There are many other good repeaters that are not listed here, that can be worked from the Twin Counties.  With these listed and unlisted repeaters, we can communicate with well over 50 counties in the Commonwealth without the use of H.F. equipment.  These resources places us in a good position to serve our communities and state in times of emergencies.

NW North Carolina and Southern WV.
