SKYWARN INFORMATION

For "Winter Fury" we will have two Skywarn systems participating.  Blacksburg is handling weather related traffic from the western part of the state and from any messaging from NC.  Wakefield will handle their traffic as well as any traffic from northern Virginia and north-eastern NC.  The scenario includes a Nor'eastern impacting the eastern part of the state and the western part of the state will be impacted by a intense snow storm moving in from the west.

Bulletins will be read on the air from the Skywarn desk that will set forth the prevailing conditions for the area at that time.  You can expect these bulletins on about a hourly basis.
